Association between estimated GFR and incident hypoglycaemia during hospitalization.

Among non-critically-ill patients hospitalized in internal medicine departments, reduced eGFR is associated with increased risk of hypoglycaemia. Glucose monitoring for all inpatients with CKD is suggested, regardless of DM status.
