Prevalence and influencing factors for artifact development in breast MRI-derived maximum intensity projections.

MRI artifacts on DCE subtraction MIPs of the breast, as used in AB-MRI, are a relevant topic. Our results show that, besides the magnetic field strength, further associated attributes are patient age and body mass index, which can provide possible targets for artifact reduction.
