Comprehensive characterization of Guanosine monophosphate synthetase in Nicotiana tabacum.

In the current study, we cloned and comprehensively characterized GMP synthase in tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum). Our results establish a basis for further research to explore the precise role of this enzyme in tobacco.
