Risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic low anterior resection: A single-center retrospective study.

Laparoscopic low anterior resection is feasible and safe with a low AL rate. Important factors associated with AL were blood loss and defunctioning stoma. Without defunctioning stoma, blood loss and distal anastomosis are also important factors.
