Excessive TLRs due to dietary VA intake and VAS are associated with lower anthropometric measures and bone resorption decreased after supplementation. VA supplementation programs should monitor VA status with biomarkers sensitive to TLRs to avoid causing negative consequences in children with hypervitaminosis A.
