Allergic and non-allergic asthma phenotypes and exposure to air pollution.

This study demonstrates that air pollution affects both asthma patients and healthy individuals. Through oxidant-antioxidant and thiol pathways, however, it adversely affects respiratory system of asthma patients, at a greater extent, than healthy individuals.
