Discovery: Truncated TDP-43 differentiates FTLD-TDP from related dementias. Verification: Truncated TDP-43 concentration has high accuracy for FTLD-TDP. TDP-43 proteoforms <28 kDa have highest discriminatory power for TDP-43 pathology.
