[Keratoconus: biomechanics ex vivo].

Using nanoindentation, a significantly lower elastic modulus was found in corneas with keratoconus compared to corneas without keratoconus. Further studies are needed to gain a better understanding of how keratoconus affects corneal biomechanics.
