[Changes in quality of life of glaucoma patients over a period of 8 years].

The QoL of glaucoma patients decreased significantly over time. Changes in the VF, particularly of the worse eye, have a great impact on reported functioning. Careful treatment, especially of the eye with greater glaucomatous damage, is mandatory.
