Clinician by day, filmmaker by night: The development of a consumer inspired educational electroconvulsive therapy video.

A gap in clinical care and service provision was identified and a collaborative project was undertaken to address these limitations. In the process of creating an ECT video, many lessons were learned and a range of recommendations were implemented, including a memory rehabilitation program and new and improved access to ECT information resources.
