Therefore, drugs targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) monoclonal antibody were thought to trigger nephrotic syndrome by causing glomerular damage. As a result, physicians using EGFR monoclonal inhibitors should be very careful about renal functions and proteinuria in patients.
