According to the multi-institutional Japanese data, pulmonary metastasectomy from HNSCC indicates a potential survival benefit. Oral cavity, tongue, and paranasal sinuses cancer, and tumour size (>20 mm) were poor prognostic factors for pulmonary metastasectomy from head and neck cancer.
