This study highlights the relationship of fulfilled (rehabilitation-related) treatment expectations with patient satisfaction in psychosomatic rehabilitation. Given the evidence underlining the importance of patients' illness and treatment beliefs and expectations, it is vital that these constructs are addressed in corresponding interventions.
