Physiological and behavioral basis of diamondback moth Plutella xylostella migration and its association with heat stress.

Our results provide the physiological and behavioral factors that underpin mass migration in P. xylostella, and demonstrate that exposure to increased temperature increases their migration propensity at the cost of reproductive output.
