Myocardial functional recovery in HFrEF is associated with improved parasympathetic activity and reduced sympathetic activity, as reflected in the PNS and SNS indexes. These novel metrics can be potentially used to aid in identifying recovered versus non-recovered phenotypes in patients with HFrEF.
