High suPAR levels occur in uncontrolled adult-onset asthma patients characterized by neutrophilic inflammation, high corticosteroid use, frequent healthcare visits, and multimorbidity with unhealthy lifestyle. This biomarker could be useful in determining asthma phenotypes and target new asthma treatments.
