These findings suggest that the MPV might be a predictive value for the diagnosis of acute bronchiolitis. However, the predictive capacity of the CRP is better than that of others. Observational studies with a larger group to evaluate the clinical significance of MPV are necessary to predict acute bronchiolitis.
