Anatomic and clinical pathology services and infrastructure in Zambia.

This study of 17 unique laboratories represents the most complete analysis of pathology capabilities in Zambia. Despite initiatives to improve pathology services, both personnel and infrastructure challenges remain. Given a population of approximately 20 million, expansion of anatomic pathology in Zambia must be prioritized.
