This case demonstrates the successful use of REBOA in the prehospital setting in China. While prehospital REBOA use is rare, it is increasingly reported in both military and civilian contexts in austere environments in different countries. Further research is required to validate the feasibility and efficacy of REBOA as a prehospital resuscitation strategy.
