Investigating socioeconomic inequalities in BMI growth rates during childhood and adolescence.

Inequalities in annual BMI growth were strongest in middle childhood, and widest in children at the upper end of the BMI spectrum. This could signify a key age bracket to intervene clinically and at a public health level and improve inequalities in childhood obesity.
