Adrenal morphology and cortical function in patients with extrapulmonary tuberculosis: response to antituberculosis treatment.

Patients with EPTB have an enlarged adrenal size and low baseline and stimulated serum cortisol levels. After treatment completion, cortisol levels increased significantly, and the adrenal size normalized in these patients.
