The reduction in TBS was associated with an osteoporotic fracture in postmenopausal RA patients receiving glucocorticoids. Combining TBS and BMD in these patients incrementally improves fracture risk discrimination and may serve as a supplementary tool in identifying patients at greatest risk of osteoporotic fracture.
