Low threshold dose and severe symptoms at initial OFC, and low total serum IgE, high ovomucoid-sIgE and higher age at initial and repeat OFCs are risk factors for the persistence of HE allergy and they may be useful when deciding the rechallenge interval for heated HE in preschool children.
