Cushing disease patients have nasal and sphenoidal anatomic variations affecting the endonasal transsphenoidal surgical corridor, especially the shorter intercarotid distance. The neurosurgeon should be aware of these anatomic variations, and adapt surgical techniques and optimal approaches to reach the sella safely.
