PEBAP resulted in a useful tool to maintain and improve air quality in hospitals. The control of environmental biosecurity requires a multidisciplinary approach from preventive medicine, engineering, and cleaning services. Aspergillus is the most frequent opportunistic fungus in southeast Spain.
