We synthesized a low metal-to-sulfur atomic ratio (0.5) FeCoS 4 , exhibiting high reversible specific capacity. Reduced graphene oxide was covered on the surface to improve the cycling stability and rate performance further. Density functional theory calculations show that composite materials can effectively increase the adsorption energy and enhance the diffusion kinetics.
