There were no significant differences among the two groups in hemodynamic parameters, the incidence of postoperative vomiting and cough. But desflurane maintenance of anesthesia resulted in the fastest early emergence from anesthesia, the lack of incidence ofpostoperative agitation compared with sevoflurane.
