Hospital Admission Profile Related to Inner Ear Diseases in England and Wales.

Inner ear disease admissions increased markedly in England and Wales during the past two decades. Females and the middle-aged population were at higher risk of being admitted for inner ear diseases. Further cohort studies are warranted to identify other risk factors and develop effective prevention strategies.
