Clinical and functional outcome of total hip arthroplasty in patients with acromegaly: mean twelve year follow-up.

Acromegaly is a rare disorder that has direct effects on bone and joints. Our results suggest that THA can result in successful clinical and functional outcomes in patients with AA of the hip however the risk of aseptic loosening should also be considered in this patient population.
