Correlation between our symptom-based scoring system and the Eckardt score for assessing patients with esophageal achalasia.

A high positive correlation was found between the TSS and the ES. Both scoring systems reflected the morphologic type well, demonstrating that the TSS was a scoring system comparable to the ES.
