The relationship between working status in old age and cause-specific disability in Japanese community-dwelling older adults with or without frailty: A 3.6-year prospective study.

The incidence of disability in older adults was influenced by working and frailty status. Engaging in full-time work thus prevents disabilities in older adults, regardless of their frailty status.
