Minimally invasive procedures may entail cancer ablation, polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) cement reinforcement, balloon osteoplasty, percutaneous screw fixation, or combinations of the aforementioned techniques (e.g., ablation-osteoplasty-reinforcement-internal fixation [AORIF]).
