Our findings indicate that high volumes of COVID-19 inpatients in general hospitals did not affect the hospitals' capability to comply with routine health care quality indicators. The results of our study imply that general hospitals in Israel were able to withstand the challenges associated with the care of COVID-19 inpatients while preserving high quality of care for routine patients.
