Integrating clinical and pathological data together with imaging-derived information, such as radiomics and sarcopenia status, creating new combined biomarkers that increase the prognostic value compared with each of them used independently. The concept of strength through synergy, applicable in so many areas of life, is also demonstrated in this area of science and opens up innumerable pathways for improving patient care in cancer. This is as an example on how we can explore and make the most of all the information we already have (clinical, pathological, imaging), without the need for new invasive tests.
