USPB of native kidneys in the FF-SALP position is a safe and effective method for tissue sampling in patients with parenchymal disease. It demonstrated comparable diagnostic yields and complication rates in the pediatric and adult populations, providing advantages in terms of airway management, making it particularly useful for pediatric patients that require general anesthesia.
