AC susceptibility measurements of [Fe III (L 5 )(NCSe)] reveal a field supported slow magnetic relaxation. On cooling, the relaxation time of the high-frequency fraction decreases which is a sign of reciprocating thermal behaviour. The relaxation time for the low-frequency mode at T = 2.0 K is as high as τ (LF) = 2.0 s.
