Layered gadolinium hydroxide (LGdH) and Ti 3 C 2 monolayers were assembled into a LGdH/Ti 3 C 2 (GTC) hybrid. The hybrid demonstrated enhanced near-infrared (NIR) light absorption properties and superior photothermal performance. Moreover, the GTC hybrid achieved an excellent T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) effect.
