The proposed sequence allows simultaneous measurement of brain perfusion and labeling efficiency with high time-efficiency at the price of only a small compromise in measurement accuracy. The additional labeling efficiency measurement can be used to facilitate qualitative interpretation of pCASL perfusion images.
