Is a new COVID-19 wave coming from China due to an unknown variant of concern? Keep calm and look at the data.

Supported by the GISAID data, we discuss on the more or less probable increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the very next future. Currently, all the sequenced case in Europe, USA and Asia refer to Omicron-related variants and recombinations.
