Prevalence and Characteristics of Lumbar Spondylolysis in White and Black Patients.

The prevalence of lumbar spondylolysis was 3.0% for white patients and .8% for black patients. The prevalence of lumbar spondylolysis was significantly higher in white patients compared with that in black patients.
