Comparison of pain during intravitreal dexamethasone, ranibizumab and aflibercept injection.

Pain associated with intravitreal injection is generally mild and associated with sex, age, and lens status. There was no significant difference in pain between intravitreal injections of dexamethasone implant, ranibizumab or aflibercept.
