Hierarchical cluster analysis provided new insights into the risk of weeds becoming resistant to more than one herbicide mode of action. By clustering herbicide modes of action into three distinct groups, the potential exists for farmers to manage resistance by rotating herbicides between rather than within clusters, as far as crop, weed and environmental conditions allow.
