Cervical conization combined with pelvic lymphadenectomy represents a feasible conservative management for histologically well-selected patients with early-stage cervical cancer. Furthermore, an optimal histopathological evaluation of conization specimens will contribute to decision-making regarding the use of this fertility-sparing procedure.
