Impact of phosphate concentration on the metabolome of biofilms of the marine bacterium Pseudoalteromonas lipolytica.

This study demonstrated the suitability of LC-MS-based untargeted metabolomics for evaluating the effect of culture conditions on marine bacterial biofilms. More precisely, these results supported the high plasticity of the membrane of P. lipolytica TC8, while the role of the oxidized PEs remains to be clarified.
