Ultra-widefield pseudocolor fundus is a valuable tool for identifying referable eyes and can be a useful, noninvasive adjunct to clinical grading. The results suggest that UWF-FA is particularly useful for detecting unsuspected sight-threatening DR in eyes with clinically referable DR.
