Using aquapheresis with continuous hematocrit monitoring to guide ultrafiltration.

In a variety of clinical circumstances and in patients from infants to adolescence, we report that patients with diuretic-resistant fluid overload can be treated with Aquadex using continuous hematocrit monitoring to guide management to allow fluid removal without hemodynamic instability or other complications.
