A positive modulating effect of Mexidol has been demonstrated in terms of accelerating the restoration of tolerance to cognitive loads, improving the psycho-emotional background by reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, and secondary improving the results of motor rehabilitation in the early recovery period in patients who have undergone ACI, including those with manifestations of PIT syndrome. During the study, no adverse events were recorded, as well as significant differences in vital functions in the study groups, which indicates comparable safety of therapy in the control and main groups.
