Identification of Cleaved Haptoglobin in the Serum of Bee Venom-Hypersensitive Patients.

The findings suggest that cleaved haptoglobin may be a significant diagnostic protein for anaphylaxis. In addition, a high incidence of bee venom hypersensitivity may be associated with the haptoglobin genotype.
