We thank Arora et al. for their interest in our study. They comment on the limitations of our study which proposes the use of extracellular vesicles (EVs) and associated sphingolipid cargo as a novel biomarker for alcoholic hepatitis (AH) and reiterate our own conclusion for the need of validation of our findings in a larger cohort.
