Incidence and Treatment Outcome of Rhinosinusitis before Kidney Transplantation: A Retrospective Cohort Study.

We report that 8.9% of patients showed abnormal findings in sinonasal evaluation before KT. Although most patients did not require surgery, surgery is recommended for active rhinosinusitis, which does not respond to medication, and for fungal rhinosinusitis to prevent postoperative sinonasal infection.
